Remote Computer Repair Help and Advice
Would it make you feel better to take a sledge hammer and smash your computer into a thousand pieces??
I certainly understand… I’ve been there too. But try doing a remote computer repair first… after all, money for a new one is hard to come by today. This online type of help is not as expensive as you may think. And there’s a lot of free advice on how to repair your PC.
Before you take the destructive route look at some alternatives. (you can always throw the piece of junk in the trash tomorrow!) There are a lot of ideas and “answers” out here to solve your slow computer issues. But…. some of these ideas are good.. and some of them are a complete waste of time and money.
Try this FIRST: Fact is a large percent of our computer problems can be uncovered by a simple (and SAFE) test of your computer’s “Registry”. No obligation to try it. It will scan your computer for errors and it does not cost anything… then, after you see the results, you decide on trying a remote repair or not… how simple is that?! Just click button below – and try out the FREE SCAN.![]()
Look over the following Questions:
If your answer is YES to any of these questions, your computer registry is most likely part of the reason your computer is slow and needing this type of repair.
1. Is your computer operating slower than it should?
2. Does your computer have pop up error messages?
3. Does your PC continually pop up ads while surfing the net?
4. Do you get “Unable to load” .dll errors?
5. Do you see the “blue screen” or your system crashes or freezes from time to time?
So, your computer is slow because of the windows register.
OK… you can always go to the expensive geeks later… why not try a remote computer repair?.. it is a simple and inexpensive solution.
The Windows Registry is a storage area for the computer’s most valuable data about the operating system’s configuration. Installing and uninstalling programs will make your PC’s register a cluttered mess and will inevitably lead to slow performance speeds, as well as other problems.
The size of information stored in the computer’s registry will grow larger and larger as you use it. And the larger the data in the registry becomes the more your computer’s performance will slow down and have other problems. Cleaning the windows registry yourself can take a great deal of time and can be very risky. This should not be done by the average person.
Go ahead… try the Free Scan now. You have nothing to lose!!

Slow Computer? Try Cutting It Off And Back On
OK, this sounds simple but don’t forget to do this good advice below:
by Norma Murphy
A slow computer can many times be helped by simply turning it off and restarting it. A lot of times I’ve told people to shut their computer down, give it a minute or so and then boot it back up. And if it’s still doing whatever it was doing, call me back. Usually about 75% of the time I won’t get called back.
When your computer is turned off and then turned back on it’s like giving it a fresh start. It opens an application without any of the old files that were causing the problem. It only opens the actual program files until the computer operator accesses other produced files such as pictures, word docs, etc.
The same thing can be done as well on an individual program. I’ve had to shut down and reboot a bookkeeping system several times. There can be so much data and at times several workstations feeding into a server and it just needs a fresh start.
What’s happening inside the computer is that the short term memory or RAM is overloaded. As well as the virtual memory is scattered. Then you have got the registry posts as more applications and data are brought into the computing. When you restart the computer you clear out the RAM and virtual memory. You might say they start over.
We don’t usually find this type problem with notebooks. You shut it down regularly to take it home or where ever. But a desk top is another story. I have known of people not ever shutting down their desktop except when an update or something needs a reboot. But usually this will lead to problems as the computer gets older.
Sometimes computer shut downs are slower than they ought to be. This might possibly be a signal of problems ahead or perhaps just something to keep an eye on. If you continue having these problems after reboot the next simplest test is with a registry repair software free scan. A scan will give you a good idea of what computer problems you have before you have to buy anything.
Check the real condition of your computer…

Fix Slow Computer
The following article gives some additional ideas on how to fix a slow computer.
By Kim W Monty:
Fix Slow Computer: Check Out These Ideas
We are very fortunate today to have computers. They make it possible for us to achieve a lot of things we cannot do without them. I don’t think we can envision our lives at this point without access to computers. So keeping our pc running at a reasonable speed is very important. Here are some good ideas to speed up your computer.
Look at some programs your computer does not need: When your pc is new, there are software applications already loaded on to it by the computer company that you do not have to have. My best computers have been assembled by local people or computer stores with parts to my specs. That way I didn’t get the extra mess. The pre-assembled brand name units have all sorts of stuff I do not want. Some of these installed programs are always running in the back ground. And this can particularly slow down computers at start up. OK, so next time you buy a computer you can do this…. but what can you do now about this now? The safest and best thing to do is contact a good computer tech. It can be very risky to try removing this type of program from any computer.
Your computer information storage areas: This involves two types of computer memory that can make your computer slow down. To fix this problem either add memory or do away with some data that is stored. The longer you work your computer the more data is stored away. Computers now are loaded with much more capacity than just a few years ago. But they have to have more to run their own systems. Our information is stored in separate drives and by many different software applications of your pc. Just as with any storage area the space should be used efficiently. It doesn’t matter how much space is accessible, if it is not organized it can slow down your pc.
Two types of memory, hard disk and random access: Computers have 2 types of memory: hard disk and its RAM or random access memory. The hard disk is the place that data is kept in storage long term and the RAM is used for shorter term storage. I know of a computer that had plenty of hard disk room but was slower than it needs to be because the amount of RAM was too small. It took almost all the RAM to run the operating system and left none for other applications to run. This issue can be solved by buying more RAM memory capacity and manually installing it in the computer. And you can do this yourself.
And your computer’s registry: If your computer has had programs added and deleted very much will almost always need a registry cleaning. The problem is that we don’t really do away with it completely, some parts of it remain. The organizing of the registry can help remove unnecessary information and that can be a slow computer fix in and of its self. The more you work your computer the more the registry becomes cluttered. And clearing the computer’s trash bin does not get rid of it also.
The registry optimization or cleaning is a simple process that can be done at home. Since I’ve had a windows registry cleaner my computer is faster and I believe it is safer from outside dangers.

Finding Ways To Fix PC Errors Yourself
Common Error Messages and Fixes for Computers
Computers can make a lot of jobs easier to do. These systems seem to get more powerful with each passing year. There are two basic components to a computer, the hardware and the software. The hardware is the internal structure that stores, transfers and displays various bits of information. Software is used to turn the bits created as a series of zeros and ones into words and pictures people can identify. When people want to fix PC errors, the help sought will either be for the hardware or software. An operating system on a computer is software and can come with its own set of diagnostic and repair tools.
The type of computer repair help performed on the inner workings of the machine, will often be done by qualified technicians. In most cases, parts will either be replaced or upgraded to make the unit function again. Software fixes do not always require the aid of a technician. People looking to fix PC errors can run a diagnostic test first, to see what might be causing the problem. In some cases error messages appear on a screen because a file is missing or has been deleted. When a person clicks on a link or icon to start a program, the computer searches for the address or location in order to bring it up. When the application or execute file is not where it is supposed to be, an error will appear.
More Computer Repair Help and Ideas
Some other common errors people can see displayed on their screens include the registry or configuration error. This can cause a lot of programs not to load or run properly, but can be easily fixed by restoring to a previous time when the system was operating correctly. To fix PC errors that state there is not enough memory to run a program, people can either upgrade to more RAM or delete unwanted files and desktop icons.
Other common messages computer users often see include the illegal operation or internal error message. These usually pop up when there is some type of conflict between programs or hardware. People often panic when they see these messages because they indicate the current program is going to be shut down and work that was not saved will be lost. To fix PC errors in this category, simply reading the requirements for the software is often enough. These alerts pop up when people try to run programs their machines do not have the ability to run.

Spyware Removal Tools That We Can Use Ourselves
Spyware is not just aggravating but down right dangerous to all of us. What is available to help us with our computer problems?
Many households today have computers, which are used by many of the members in the family. While most adult users are cautious about the websites they visit, teenagers and school aged children are often not as careful. It is easy for a site to download unauthorized software to a computer’s hard drive without the user knowing about it. This software can be used to spy on the sites visited by the users and the information transmitted. This is known as spyware, which can be removed using spyware removal tools.
The spyware removal tools are part of a complete package, which is generally easy to install on most systems. This software will be designed to work with specific operating systems so it is important to check for the system your computer has before installing. The diagnostic tools will perform a scan of the drives on the machine to see if there are any hidden programs or files. If a program designed to track or spy on computer users is discovered the program will alert the owner, who can then make the choice to have it removed.
Registry Cleaners and Spyware Removal Tools Give A Total Safety Package
In the category of useful tools for computers, the computer registry cleaners are also good to have available. These also seek out files on a hard drive, but these are usually files and bits of information left over from deleted programs. Most operating systems have their own folders, which contain information such as serial codes and drivers used to run software. When the software is removed these items are often left behind because they are not located within the software program’s folder. All of these bits and pieces can cause a system to slow down in its performance.
Families with children and teens can benefit by using diagnostic tools to prevent lags and unwanted programs from destroying their system. With more young people connecting on the Internet and downloading movies, music and video games, it is not uncommon for systems to become infiltrated with tracking programs. This poses a threat because any information sent over the Internet, including passwords, social security numbers and bank account numbers, can be obtained by other people. The spyware removal tools, registry cleaners and anti-virus programs all work to help maintain the integrity of an operating system and the programs installed on it.
